ATV Safety Program Started By Illinois Paramedic

An Illinois paramedic has a simple message for ATV riders, “Wear helmets and don’t take passengers.”

Paramedic Carlos Hill partnered with a local hospital to urge ATV safety after seeing too many patients injured from the recreational vehicles.  The result: The Survive the Ride coalition which will target 10- to 16-year-olds in rural Missouri and Illinois, where ATV accidents are the highest.
